Support and resistance are zones, not promises.

Support and resistance help frame where buyers or sellers previously reacted. They should be treated as context for review, not as guaranteed turning points.

Support

Support is an area where demand previously appeared. A support zone matters more when it aligns with structure, confirmation, and defined invalidation.

Resistance

Resistance is an area where supply previously appeared. If price breaks and holds above it, the context can change.

Failed zones

Zones fail when price accepts beyond them or when the broader structure changes. This is why invalidation should be defined before a decision.

Confirmation

A touch of a zone is not enough. Better review asks whether price reacted, whether risk is clear, and whether the reward path is realistic.
